Andrew Telker, LEED AP.
Andrew Telker, Digital Designer, Principal has worked on many award winning projects throughout his career. Andrew has always had a talent for conveying ideas through Sketches and 3D Models. Andrew founded Telker Design Visual Studio as a way to bridge the Gap between Reality and Fantasy, and allow Architects, Designer, Developers, and Homeowners (among others) to visualize the TRUE potential of their dreams.
“A 3D Model goes along way to conveying an idea and solving problems before construction begins. A lot of time a Great 3D Model can help secure the financing and approval needed for a Project”.
H3: Early Career
Andrew began his career as a Carpenter in the construction industry, and quickly moved up to Project Coordinator. Andrew has complimented his building trade knowledge with a Bachelor of Architecture degree from Florida A&M University, graduating Magna Cum Laude in the University Honors Program, and most recently became a Certified Web Designer through Emory University.
Andrew, while working toward his Professional Degree in Architecture, developed his Graphical Style with some guidance from a patient and talented Architect in Panama City. During this time, Andrew was allowed to experiment with many different powerful styles, eventually finding a graphical language that conveyed easily to a large audience.
H3: Eco Designer
As a steward of the environment, and someone concerned with creating healthy environments, Andrew has formalized his green passions by receiving his LEED accreditation. In this manner, Andrew has experience in both the LEED review process, and Energy Modeling Compliance for LEED certification, and local/state energy codes. Andrew was involved in over a dozen different projects in 2008 with the Goal of LEED certification. Andrew continues his passions for Sustainability through smart Design House Solutions (Insert Eco-friendly link here) and with consistent Water Conservation Efforts with Local & State governments.
“My Goal is to see Water Catchment Cisterns and Permeable Pavers, in the Fulton County Codes and Promoted Policies and ultimately realized in the Built Environment in 2011”
